Chappell at Garden State GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 3. — Dan Chappell, of Miami, who is national president of the HBP A, was a guest at Garden State Park today as the long Jersey racing season got under way. Chappell came on from New York, stopping en route to Lincroft Farm, near Red Bank, to inspect his breeding stock consisting of foals and yearlings who are the get of his stallion, Principal.
