Resigns Commission Post BOSTON, Mass., May 3.— Harold R. Allen, chairman of the Massachusetts State Racing Commission, resigned his post today, according to an announcement given out by the Governors office here. Allen has been a member of the commission since 1939 and has occupied the chairmans post since 1947. No reason was given for the action. It is expected that a new member will be appointed within the next few days.
