Two Columbus-Owned Starters COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 6. — Only two Columbus horses have ever started in the Kentucky Derby. In 1928, Misstep, owned by the Le Mar Stock Farm, was runner-up to Reigh Count and in 1944, Brief Sigh, the property of the River Divide Farm was fifth in back of Pensive, Broadcloth, Stir Up and Shut Up.
