CLIMBER worked way forward steadily to the stretch, was eased out slightly during the drive to secure racing room and, after disposing of LUCKY DOG. held GRACIOUS HEART safe. The latter raced evenly to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and closed stoutly under urging. LUCKY DOG began fast, made the pace to the final furlong then faltered "RIMSON PET had a rough trip to the stretch, but finished well when clear. DOUBLE DARED was outrun LiUTTON SHOES tired after racing prominently to the stretch. JEAN DEAR, fractious at the post unseated her rider, broke well and raced forwardly placed for three-eighths, then gave way. SYLS GALLANT raced greenly. MISMATCH raced wide. STEEL WIT had early speed, but failed to stay. Scratched— Seventy Seven, 110. Overweight— Climber, 3 pounds; Gracious Heart, 4; Syls Gallant, 2; Mismatch, 2; Covey Ridge, 1. HELENCHEN, forced to take up when crowded by JEAN FOX near the upper turn, was eased back and sent to the outside of the latter, assumed command and retained the advantage while under mild urging. MARBACKA raced evenly to the stretch moved up resolutely for the drive, but was unable to reach the winner. BILL G. lacked early speed, but finished fast on the extreme outside. TWEEN MEALS failed to rally when set down in the drive. MISS OGIFTIE could not keep up. MISS PROSPECT was outrun. ROBIN HILL was never dangerous. JEAN FOX had early speed FLY . COQUINET, a sharp factor from the start, assumed command nearing the stretch and con- ■ nued determinedly under brisk urging, but could not withstand the winner. BALLA FLIGHT, never far back ■ ailed to rally when set down in the drive. SISTER BRY dropped back near the stretch and came, again when ■straight for the drive. STUDYING tired during the stretch run. CULVER CO-ED raced greenly. WISE TRICK ■was never dangerous. FLARE MONTE had a rough trip. SPRING CHIMES assumed command early, made the J pace until inside the stretch, then gave way. CLEVELANDER could not threaten. YOUR REWARD raced wide. OFF AT 4:41* CENTRAL STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. WISTFUL was forced wide at the first * turn, made up ground steadily when clear and, sent between horses for the stretch run, overcame interference to assume command and won going away. THE FAT LADY raced evenly to the upper turn, moved up boldly when sent to the inside for the drive, held on gamely, but was not good enough for the winner. LADY DORIMAR was roughed going to the first turn, made a bold bid approaching the stretch, but swerved to the outside during the drive and could not threaten when straightened up. ADMIRED was much used engaging WIRRA to the stretch and had nothing left for the drive. WIRRA gave way after racing prominently to the stretch. STOLE, bothered by SIMLA going to the first turn, held on gamely for a half mile, then tired. CHALL AMAZE was forced wide at the initial turn and failed to recover. BLUE NOTE was never dangerous. SIMLA swerved to the inside soon after the start, interferred with STOLE, then tired after going a half mile. TALL WEEDS was through early. Scratched— 72693 Batchs Girl, 116; 73240 Warsick, 116.
