INFINOTTO was forced wide while on even terms for the lead or. the first turn, impeded THOROBELLE on the far turn, then held CAKE WALK safe under punishment. The latter was slowest to begin, went up between horses and closed well. MAGIC TOUCH had no excuse. COURTS MAUDE was forced wide on the first turn and tired. THOROBELLE, holding a slight lead on the rail, went wide going into the first turn, then dropped back sharply when impeded. THUNDER ECHO raced very wide on the first turn. The latter was never far back, lost ground engaging the leaders on the fourth turn and showed a good effort. CHILLEE KNIGHT went up on the rail to be on even terms for the lead and faltered. BULLY GUSHER had no mishap. MISS G. G. quit. DRUM FIRE struck the heels of a horse going into the first turn and nearly went down. DAUBERUP showed nothing. TOWN GUY-eame out of the race lame. PATRUSKA was well placed from the start and had no excuse. HILLTOPPER challenged mildly on the far turn and weakened. BIZ was outrun BRIGHT JIMMY bore out in the backstretch and went extremely wide on the far turn. WATERMAN LAD raced greenly. GOLDEN CROSS refused to break. The latter went into a clear lead, came to the inside after a furlong, then gave way suddenly near the end. PLAIDLOCH lost ground in the opening stages, was blocked momentarily on the far turn, forged between horses and closed stoutly. GHOST BOUND was outrun. PROPELLED quit.
