Black Tarquin Triumphs NEWMARKET, England, May 10 Reuters. — William Woodwards Black Tarquin, was not extended in winning the Burwell Stakes run over a mile and a half here today. Ridden by his regular jockey, Australian Edgar Britt, and starting at 8-to-100, Black Tarquin strode away from Fighter Command to win by five lengths. Another of Woodwards American-bred colts, The Senator, was last of three starters.
