STEPINTHDARK was sent into command after the start and, suited in the footing, saved ground on the turns, but was tiring at the end. MINT TULIP, a forward factor from the start, responded when roused in the stretch run and finished well. ASCERTAIN, from a slow beginning, improved his position to close fast. TIGER FORE made up some ground at the end. HAPPY ALL had a flash of early speed. KID CAUTION was never formidable. BO WAY was taken up after the start. ROMAN ROAD on the inside and close up from the start, was eased back in the stretch run and came again at the finish. RINGNECK was outrun early, improved his position on the outside and had no mishap. ACME was kept close up from the beginning, but flattened out at the end. JETSAM was outrun early.
