B. Bond; bred by Robert W. Daniel. WENT TO POST— 5:55. OFF AT 5:551 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. TURNABOUT was close to the pace from the start, moved up fast on the outside rounding the stretch turn, assumed command and, -entering the final furlong, bore over, then held on welT. A claim of foul was lodged against the winner for bearing in in the stretch, but was overruled. OPENING DAY was under restraint while setting the pace, saved ground at the turns and was in close guarters when the winner bore over. DONNAS ACE worked his way up fast rounding the far turn, bore out entering the stretch, then finished well. FULGURA was outrun to the far turn, responded when roused and closed fast MONTAGE ran in spots and had no mishap. Attendance, 27,856; Total Mutuel Pool, ,772,043.
