OMADHAUN outsprinted the field into the first turn, drifted out extremely wide on the near turn, came to the middle of the track and, under punishment, outlasted SPURCHASE. The latter reached the lead when OMADHAUNwent out on the turn, continued gamely during the final stages, but could not reach the winner. DOMINION was guided to the inside for the stretch run and finished willingly. BICKETT failed to make up appreciable ground when shaken up for the drive. TORDAR could not keep up. AUNT JAYNE Z. raced within striking distance of the early leaders, responded readily when called upon for the stretch run, assumed command midway of the drive and drew out under punishment. LADY MARQUEST raced close up throughout and closed determinedly in a sharp effort. DUCHESS PEG, went to the front at once, made the pace to the stretch under mild urging, but tired during the late stages and could not withstand the top ones. SWING AGAIN closed a gap when settled for the final drive, but was not good enough. BALLADETTE tired under punishment. MISS HIGHBROW lacked speed. IRISH DAUGHTER had no mishap. TIDY SUM was hustled to the front soon after the break, held a commanding lead entering the stretch and maintained his advantage thereafter when ridden out, SYNDICATE finished resolutely on the outside, but could not seriously endanger the winner. IRISH SUN was never far back, failed to attain the lead and flattened out under pressure through the final furlong. MY. SISTER failed to stay after forcing the early pace. BENEELOBE was pinched back while racing on the inside at the half-mile marker and never completely recovered. SPRING GAL had no excuse. ARABS PAL tired. GOOD LOOK quit as usual.
