Clifford Sanford Dies BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 16. — Clifford Sanford, well known racing official in his own right and brother of Tom Sanford, who has filled that post of steward at this plant for many years, passed away at his home, 500 Wallace Ave., Covington, Ky., early this morning. Cliff had been clerk of scales at the Kentucky, Illinois and Arkansas tracks for many years. Complete funeral arrangements were not available early today, but will be announced some time this morning.
