OUR BEST lost some ground in the early stages while with the first flight, came to the inside when clear in command and won fully extended. RADIO JOE took up on the second turn when blocked and bothered, moved up between horses and closed gamely. GEE TEECEE, far back early, worked his way up between horses and finished well. HONEST ENGINE had no mishap. BUSY MAIDEN moved up gamely after a half mile and tired. GRAN CITELLA quit. TREE LAND bore out on the turns. THE FOX bore out badly. Overweight— Gran Citella,.3 pounds. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. CHILLEE KNIGHT, reserved for a half, moved up with a rush on the rail, took command on the inside and lasted over BIG HOPE. The latterr steadied for a half, went up swiftly when called upon, was blocked momentarily on the rail rounding the final turn and was getting to the winner, DR. RUSH drifted out when tiring in the final sixteenth. HELENS BOY had no excuse. KHAYGRAM ran but on the first turn and lost ground thereafter. APPETIZER was outrun.
