P00D00, well placed from the start and saving ground early, moved up on the outside to engage the leaders and just lasted over FREE CITIZEN. The latter raced forwardly on the rail throughout, and just missed. SUSIE C. took the lead when TRUE TIME quit, then just missed in a good effort. GENIES MATE lost some ground moving up. TRICKY DEAL was bothered when GHOST BOUND broke down. TRUE TIME had brief speed and quit. GHOST BOUND broke down nearing the five and a half furlongs pole. MAIN BET raced in the middle of the track down the chute and backstretch, moved up on the outside to displace MOONS END and drew away under mild punishment. FUN QUEST, never far back, bore in badly in the final furlong and held off WHITE SPRING for the place. The latter trailed for six furlongs, moved up on the rail, was blocked momentarily at the sixteenth post and finished willingly. SASSY SUZANNE and ROCKY SIR tired. The latter lost some ground on the turn while with the leaders, took command, held on well when headed and just missed. PLAY AGAIN made the early pace between horses and faltered in the drive. WHOSE dropped back going into the turn and failed to rally when called upon. The latter, slow to hit stride, moved up on the outside, but could not menace the winner. LITTLE BOBBLES- gave way after forcing the pace for a half. GOLD EAGLE was away poorly. The latter was forced to lose much ground coming out for the turn, -threatened boldly in the stretch and gave way as if short of a top effort. WISE TIGER forced the pace under hard restraint, lost some ground on the far turn while moving into the lead and won without opposition. NINETEEN FOUR forged through on the rail on the far turn to be with the leader, tired in the drive, but lasted over ROYAL PIGEON -for the place. The latter, eased back when in close quarters going to the first turn, failed to respond when set down for the drive. DIVE BOMBER had no excuse.
