ORBIT had speed, saved ground to the stretch, where, under pressure, commenced drifting out and faltered in the closing stages and v/as disqualified and placed out cf the money for interfering with SHOW TIME in the last sixteenth. TARPORT KID, slow to begin, was hard held while racing wide to the last quarter, was put to strong handling for the drive and made a belated challenge, but was not quite good enough. MARK HIGH v/as well placed early while saving ground, was sent to the outside when blocked on the stretch turn and failed to rally when clear. A. Neloy; bred by Matt Byrne. WENT TO POST-5:051. OFF AT 5:061 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. VINSFURLOUGH, taken in hand and steadied to the last quarter, came to the inside when set down for the drive and, under a strong ride, got up in the closing strides. BLUE PAL rallied from the outside, moved up boldly nearing the last eighth but hung near the end. MAID OF OZ made the pace in hand, saved ground to the stretch where she commenced drifting out while tiring. CHALK was well placed from the start, raced on the outside much of the way and lacked a closing rally when called on for his best effort. SAM BERNARD had no apparent excuses while giving an even effort. MR.. HAPPY gave way suddenly after racing prominently to the last eighth. PIE LADY was through early.
