Announce List of Officials For Jackson Raceway Meet JACKSON, Mich., May 7.— In announcing Jackson Raceways "official family," Leon A. Slavin, president of Jackson Trotting Association and general manager of the Raceway, reports that everything is in readiness for Friday nights "opener," which will inaugurate the 1951 racing season in Michigan. Presiding judge for the 26-night harness meeting at the Jackson half-mile oval is Norman F. Wilson. Associate judges are J. B. Munsell, Jr., and Malcolm J. Line-nan. Dave Hoyer is the starter. Patrol judges are George Roche, S. Trumbull and Don W. Brown. Mrs. Pearl Hunt, Robert Fisher and Ray Barnard will officiate as timers. Edward "Eddie" Miller, known to Detroit racing fans from his handling of the public address systems at the Detroit Fairgrounds and Hazel Park tracks, will be in charge of admissions. Isaac Cohen is clerk of the course, Floyd Dougherty is paddock judge and Jack Calvert will be the announcer.
