I Trust Shapes Up Choice In Suffolk Main Offering Competes With Flic Flac as Well As Teaneck Flash, Five Others SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 7. — Mrs. J. Kelleys I Trust, winner of three races this year, the most recent a mile and a sixteenth test at Jamaica, shapes up as the choice in the featured middle-distance race at Suffolk Downs tomorrow. The event will be named the Queen for a Day, honoring the national radio program of the same name, which will be presented from Boston this week. Eight sophomores have been named to contest the mile and a sixteenth headliner. I Trust, a bay son of Princequillo — Ill Say, was given a sharpener on Saturday in a six-furlong dash. Although he failed to show anything that would endorse his chances, the fact that the opposition is lesser and the distance more to his liking is enough to stamp the Kelley colt as the one to beat. He was a much sought after colt when entered in a claiming race during the past winter in Florida. In three consecutive starts, beginning at Hialeah Park on February 26 and ending March 1, I Trust was claimed each time. Shangrila Stables Flic Flac has already annexed two middle-distance events over the local oval this season and rates as a stout contender. The Heliopolis colt also was in the Saturdays race with I Trust and showed the longer distance tomorrow would serve him better than the sprint. He was closing very fast at the end of the venture. J. W. Nizleks Teaneck Flash is better regarded for his sprinting qualities, having accounted for one triumph over classy opposition at the local strip. His presence in the Queen for a Day will provide sharp early pace and there is a possibility the Selalbeda colt may take a long lead and be hard to overtake. The remaining five consists of Kasco Knight, Proud Sir, Blentigo, Snorkel and Crewhall. All have been winners, so an interesting event should be forthcoming. With the exception of the third race, a maiden event at a half mile for juveniles, the other contests will be of the claiming variety with an abundance of overnight starters being named.
