First Horses to Arrive At Arlington This Week Rex Ellsworths String of 18 Juveniles Coming From Coast First 1951 arrivals at Arlington Park, lured by Americas richest stake program for two-year-olds, will be Rex Ellsworths string of 18 California juveniles, it was announced yesterday by racing secretary Frank E. Kilroe. The Ellsworth stable, which includes 16 Khaled colts and fillies under the care of trainer M. A. Tenney, is due to unload here this week-end, direct from Santa Anita. The Calif ornian will be aiming at nine juvenile stakes booked for Arlington-Washington this summer, with his early arrival pointing specifically at the Hyde Park Stakes, initial feature for two-year-olds at Arlington Park, June 30. Arlingtons season gets under way June 18. The main racing strip is not yet available, but track superintendent Clarence Brinkman has the training track ready. Most of Ellsworths Khaleds have been nominated for the lucrative future stakes, which include the 5,000 added Arlington Lassie July 18, the 0,000 added Arlington Futurity July 25, 5,000 added Princess Pat August 15 and the 0,000 added Washington Park Futurity Sept. 1. Arlington Park also will be the scene of the det-ut of Dixianas two-year-old crop, along with Ancient City, the prize juvenile that E. Barry Ryan will ship from New York in a few days. Ancient City was purchased by Ryan out of the Keeneland yearling sales for 8,700, the top price paid for a Heli-oplis youngster la*st year. His dam is Dog-gin It. Heliopolis, of course, was the leading sire of 1950.
