BILLIE, much used to reach the leaders from the outside on the turn, moved over while wresting command and drew clear under intermittent pressure. KEEP BUSY raced DOROTHYS MISS into defeat, was joined immediately by BILLIE and was no match. JAMEON BONES improved her position steadily. DOROTHYS MISS moved through along the inside to duel with the leader for the first half mile, then faltered. POULE DEAU weakened after displaying speed. POKER CLUB raced prominently along the backstretch and quit. GALLANT DOMA WAS QUITE SORE GOING POSTWARD AND WAS WITHDRAWN. ALL WAGERS. INCLUDING THOSE COUPLING HER IN THE DAILY DOUBLE. WERE REFUNDED. BLUE RHYMER rapidly established a clear lead and was not threatened while winning under wraps. ROCKY REEF raced forwardly throughout, but was not good enough. BIG SWEET raced evenly. STANS HELEN, unable to keep up from the gate, was taken up sharply when crowded leaving the backstretch and had no chance thereafter. REHEARSER broke tardily, then was unable to rally when STANS HELEN moved out in front of him entering the stretch DURLEY LANE was through early, as was DIAMOND CROSS. GENACOKE fenced well while racing FLYING WING into defeat, drew clear steadily after a mile and a half and won easily. HAMPTON ROADS rallied to outfinish the others but was no match for the winner. FLYING WING raced wide while dueling with GENANCOKE for the lead and weakened badly after a mile and a half. PALAJA failed to reach contention but out-finished the outdistanced RANK. FLAMING COMET was racing third when he lost the rider at the twelfth fence. FLOATING ISLE was well back when he hobbled and lost the rider at the seventh jump. SUN GODDESS lacked a rally under pressure. MAKE SWAY attained a commanding early advantage but stopped to a walk through the stretch. FENMOUSE raced evenly and without mishap. MILLYS FILLY was never prominent. HERES RUSTY showed brief speed. LADY ALQUEST was outrun from the start. MARGARET A. unseated her rider while the field was moving into position, ran off and, when returned to her position, dwelt afc the break. WEATHERMAN, unhurried while within striking distance, moved well when able to secure racing rocm between horses and outfinished MYSTAGOGUE. The latter, unable to draw clear while setting the pace, held on willingly after regaining command. MARENGO attained the lead from the outside on the turn, then showed a tendency to drift out. GUIDED MISSILE weakened after being made much use of early. MAD HARE caught tired horses. BLUE FEDORA dropped back steadily. SOLICITOR, allowed to settle into best stride, was driven through an opening along the inside to engage the leaders, then outgamed BINKY B. The latter saved ground while dueling with MARYLAND DAY and held o/i tenaciously after putting that one away. 00 M PAUL, a trailer early, was sent through along the inside on the turn, was forced to take up sharply when crowded by SOLICITOR, was taken out for the stretch run and was again deterred a bit when MARYLAND "DAY tired and swerved in front of him. MARYLAND DAY dueled for the lead and swerved while tiring. RARE MINERAL could not keep up. FOURTEEN GRAND, on the outside and under restraint to midway of the final turn, moved to the leader boldly in midstretch, was taken up while lugging in sharply, then won cleverly. COLELCO was nicely handled to reach contention early, wrested command leaving the backstretch, responded to urging and was tiring but unharmed when FOURTEEN GRAND lugged in nearing the end. JOE MANDELL dueled for the early lead and held on fairly well. SNOWFLARES tired only slightly. GALLANT JAKE failed to seriously threaten ROY 0. showed nothing. COMELY BELLE reached prominence along -the backstretch and faltered. SALIENT dropped back steadily.
