I * ] j J J J f M Cork Loses Purse at Bowie; Weight Carried Is Incorrect PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 7.— The horse, M Cork, winner of the final race at Bowie on Thursday, May 3, has been disqualified for having carried incorrect weight. The purse was redistributed as follows: Sir Cross, ,625; Four West, 00; Woodmore, 50, and Alvin H. M., 25. M Cork was ridden by N. Huggins, and his weight included a five-pound apprentice allowance. In that Huggins was not under contract to owner M. Prickett or trainer I. Prickett, nor were his papers filed with the stewards, the horse was not entitled to the allowance.
