Lawrence Jones Is Pacing Riders at Ak-Sar-Ben AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 12.— Lawrence Jones, the 17-year-old apprentice jockey from Brush, Colo., continues to lead the riders at Ak-Sar-Ben. On Saturday, -the fifteenth day of the 33-day meet, Jones was up on a winner and a second to boost his seasons total to 20 wins, 12 seconds and 8 shows. Under Ak-Sar-Bens point system, which credits six points for a win, two for a place and one for a show, Jones now leads the top five riders with a total of 152 points. Second- place is held by jockey .Harold Walker, the veteran rider from Nampa, Idaho, who has a 14-9-12 record for a total of 114~4Doints. Close behind in third spot with 105 points is Sonny Williams with a 13-6-11 showing. .
