BE STYLISH, a sharp factor from the beginning, assumed command when settled in the stretch and drew clear under vigorous handling. NICOTINE GAL gradually improved position to the stretch and finished willingly, but could not get to the top one. DISICAL, away sluggishly, saved ground when sent up fast during the opening quarter mile, reached the lead entering the stretch, but faltered during the drive. THIRD OVAL was unable to reach the leaders when set down through the stretch. SANTED had a rough trip. SPINSTER raced wide after showing early speed. BOLD POISE failed to stay after beginning fast. BEST CHANCE, forwardly placed from the start, raced to the front entering the stretch and increased the advantage while under punishment. ALBULIL, never far back, made a good bid entering the stretch, but could not overtake the top one. SWEEP BOLT, away alertly, opened a good lead after racing MIARIELJOE into defeat, but faltered during the stretch run. LIBERTY A., roughed nearing the stretch, could not threatenn the leaders when clear. VALDINA DECOY lacked early speed. MARIELJOE was hustled to the front early; made the pace for three-eighths mile, then weakened. JOES SUN was never prominent. KNOTTY PINE could not keep up. TOMATO began fast, but failed to stay. SHAG TAILS, alertly ridden, assumed command at once, steadily increased his advantage and won with something left. McGRATHIANA, never far back but racing greenly, finished well, but could not get to the winner. CHARLEY C. raced evenly to the stretch and could not get to the leaders when set down for the drive. ABISOK tired after engaging SHAG TAILS, to the final furlong. SADDLERS JOY could not keep up after showing early speed. SANDTOP was outrun. PARAMOUNT PETE began slowly. KING PIGEON was outrun. SILVER DOME, knocked back leaving the upper turn, failed to recover. ROSY GREEK was through early. GOOD-SHOPPER raced evenly to the stretch, responded to punishment during the drive and, after disposing of NO NO ANNA, won going away. NO NO ANNA assumed an early lead, made the pace until inside the stretch, was unable to withstand the winner, but easily bested the others. LULLABY TIME faltered during the stretch run. FAST BREAK lacked early speed, but finished fast. ROBINS BLUE began fast, but could not keep up after the start. CARLENE was never prominent. BERN KEY showed nothing. OBRIENS PAT tired. BON LYNN saved ground while snugged s to the last three-eighths mile, saved ground at the stretch turn when the leaders drifted out and, responding C to a good hand ride, won going away. GAY HENRIETTA, reserved to the stretch, was forced wide at the final turn, closed willingly when straight for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. FRIENDLY SANDS broke 2 with her field, but faltered immediately after the start, made up ground steadily and closed fast in a sharp ** effort. BLEWSO, far back to the stretch, passed tired horses during the drive. ARABY QUEEN, much used ■ engaging GAY LIBERTY to the stretch, had nothing left for the drive and drifted out while tiring. DEAR TINT went into command soon after the start, gradually increased his advantage to the stretch and was ridden put to increase his margin. SKYRAIDING raced nearest DEAR TINT after the start, could not menace the winner, but lasted to withstand SALE PRICE. The latter raced evenly and had no excuse. NIGHT PARADE began sluggishly, but made up ground during the last quarter mile. BLUEFIN began alertly, but dropped back immediately after the start.
