Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 12. Trainer Harry Trotsek and jockey Ken Church have made arrangements to journey to Suffolk Downs this evening. Church will handle Oil Capitol in the colts scheduled engagement in the, Massachusetts Handicap. Harry Trotsek stated that he had returned Mr. and Mrs. Allie Reubens Michigan III. and Many Gifts to the owners Hasty House Farm at Toledo, Ohio. The duo will be rested for several weeks. Dean J. Howell departed with his sizable stable for Fairmount Park. The Howell-conditioned unit will be returned to the Chicago sector for the Hawthorne meeting. The C. D. Fassbender unit was further increased with the arrival of C. E. Phillips two-year-old, Miss Andrews, • from Lexington, Ky. The juvenile miss is expected to make her local debut in the immediate future. Included in the Frank Kurinec-trained unit, which recently arrived at Arlington Park from Maryland were: Fickle Man, Legs, Fresh, Blond and Gay, Bill Mc-Auley, and Auntie Mutt, all of whom are the property of Fred Wyse. Comprising the remainder of the shipment were R. H. Abercrombies Stranded, Sliparound, Like You and Collegiate. Jockey Gene Pederson has made plans to return to the New England sector today. Contemplated plans are for .the veteran reinsman to resume riding at Suffolk Downs immediately upon arrival. The R. B. Berini public unit was further augmented with the arrival of Rockwood Lou from Detroit. Rockwood Lou is owned by P. ODonnelL Jockey R. L. Baird has been engaged to be astride one of the Harry Trotsek-con-ditiohed nominations in next Saturdays renewal of the 0,000 added Lincoln Handicap. Larry Thompson, trainer of those horses owned by Mrs. Helen S. Reineman, recently received the two-year-old Bright Answer. The youngster has been undergoing pre- * liminary conditioning at Churchill Downs. B. C. Kelley transferred his public unit to River Downs. Included in the shipment were Ocean Sand, Vee-L-Capt., Black Cat, Suzies Girl, War Gift and Dusty Story.
