NEWSWORTHY went to the front soon after the beginning, established a clear lead before reaching the stretch and retained a good advantage thereafter while under a steady hand ride. BUBBINS, away alertly, raced nearest NEWSWORTHY after the start, could not threaten the winner, but was easily best of the others. BILLCELLA began fast, dropped back after the break, then made a mild bid entering the stretch, but cculd not menace the leaders. DATE BOOK, caught between horses and roughed leaving the backstretch, failed to recover after the mishap. FLORIDA FARMER was outrun. KINGS LADY tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. FERRO FOX began fast, made the pace to the stretch under occasional urging, responded readily when set down for the drive and lasted to withstand DONKE SERENADE. The latter, roughed when caught between horses after the break, recovered and raced steadily to the stretch, swerved to the outside when punished from the" near side and could not reach the top one. DIXIE FLYER, never far back and saving ground throughout, closed strongly under punishment. COUNTESS MOLLY was outrun and had no excuse. ALSCHOL began poorly. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-16 MILE5. BULL MAN went to the front early, made the pace to the last quarter mile under occasional urging, then was ridden out through the stretch to increase his advantage. SIGNALS BLOKE saved ground to the stretch, was sent to the middle of the track for the drive and finished fast under punishment. MAGNETIC STAR raced prominently to the final furlong, but faltered nearing the finish. AMANECER lacked early speed, but made up ground during the final quarter mile. FREEDOM TRAIN raced wide to the stretch and was listlessly ridden during the last quarter mile. OUR EQUITY tired after displaying early foot. MAD CORD could not keep up. NOLA was through early. RAVEN REWARD, a forward factor from the beginning, reached the lead between calls near the finish while racing in close quarters nearing the finish, but could not withstand the winner, just missing. HOT CHOCOLATE engaged OUR YONKELA to the stretch, reached the lead during the drive, but tired during the last sixteenthr TEXAS RAIN raced evenly until inside the stretch, was roughed when caught between horses during the drive and, taken up sharply, could not threaten when clear. CEDRIC, on the outside to the stretch, finished strongly in a good effort. TASK tired during the drive. WISENHEIMER was outrun. OUR YONKELA went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then tired badly. Scratched— 30521 Galena, 109. Overweight— Raven Reward, 1 pound; Chic Bit, 4.
