Bennett Gets Jersey Permit MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 21. — E. H. "Tiger" Bennett of Mid-dletown, N. J., became the first steeplechase rider to be issued a riding permit in New Jersey since jumping racing flourished at old Monmouth Park in 1893. The local pilot, who has ridden considerably over English courses as well as in this country, will be on hand when the Monmouth hurdle season is revived on July 16.
