JACK HAN KINS — Drives Miss Mary Dean in tonights opening race at May-wood Park. Waywise Out for Fourth Win of Current Season Engages Five Other Class B. Trotters at Maywood Tonight MAYWOOD PARK, Maywood, 111., June 4. — Jim Fleming, of Lexington, Ky„ will send his five-yearrold trotter Waywise after his fourth victory of the season tomorrow night in the featured eighth race at Maywood Park. Waywise, with Fleming himself in the sulky, will start from the outside post position in the mile dash against a field of five other trotters. Waywise rates as a slight choice in a balanced field that includes Berthas Champ, Dewey Preakness, Carlotta Crusader, Johnny Page and Gertie Gallon. Both Berthas Champ, which draws the pole, and Dewey Preakness, who will start j from the No. 2 slot, were successful in their most recent efforts. Berthas Champ scored his second victory of 1952 Saturday night for owner E. V. Champion, of Peoria. The six-year-old Scotland stallion will be driven by Edgar Leonard. Dewey Preakness, owned by Ralph Finney, of Rawson, Ohio, notched his third decision a week ago under Red Scotts guidance. Johnny Page, a veteran May-wood campaigner, will be looking for his third triumph, while Gertie Gallon, a consistent winner last year for owner Paul S. Dougherty, of LaGrange, has still to win its initial race this season.
