Jersey Commission Approves Monmouth Park Officials OCEANPORT, N. J., June 4.— Officials for the 1952 turf season at Monmouth Park have been approved by the New Jersey State Racing Commission and will be ready to assume their posts opening day, June 14. Only a few changes have been made, since last year, including the appointment of Kenneth H. Lennox to the position of steward and Vincent Mara to the paddock judgeship. -Officials for the 49-day meeting are John Turner, Sr., Kenneth Lennox and Earl Pot- ter, stewards, the latter representing the state racing commission; John Brennan, Stanley Gillespie and William Trundle as placing judges; Vincent Mara, John L. Bond, Wilfred V. Mullin and John R. Pryce as steward associates; Edward Blind, starter; Al Bonagura, clerk of scales; Vincent I Mara, paddock judge, and Joseph R. Megill, timer. John Turner, Jr., again will be racing secretary, with Thomas A. Steel his assistant. Admissions and parking are under Herbert J. Shaw; W. Riggs Mahony serves as mutuel manager, while policing is under the superdvision of the Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau.
