BURGOO PLAY, forwardly placed from the start, disposed of AUGUST entering the stretch and lasted to withstand FLEETRIDGE. The latter not overtake the winner, probably needing his race. ALLOCATION lacked speed away from the starting gate was hustled to reach serious contention and failed to rally when set down in the drive. AUGUST assumed command at the start, made the pace to the stretch, but weakened when challenged by BURGOO PLAY FLYING TURKEY began sluggishly. OCEAN CLIPPER was outrun. TRANCER tired. LEADING MAN was through after a half mile. BROWNSTOWN and SMART EVE were never danqerous. LOCK OUT, in close quarters early, moved up readily when clear and, after racing by IN MY BONES during the stretch run, won going away. IN MY BONES, a sharp factor from the start, reached the lead during the drive, but was unable to withstand the winner and pulled up lame. CEDRIC lacked early speed and could not get to tfie leaders when hard urged through the stretch, then faltered. DOUBLE 0. was outrun. NITRO* FIRE had a rough trip COUNT STEEL tired after racing prominently to the stretch. BALLYHEATHER failed to stay after showing early speed. TULKINGHORN, roughed entering the backstretch, failed to recover after the mishap. BOMBAST showed nothing. BIMOVER could not keep up.
