The latter raced prominently, wrested command in midstretch and continued on willingly. MIGHTY DAN made up ground when clear. BIG PERRY weakened only slightly through the stretch. BLUE NANCY raced evenly. PAVOLD moved to the front on the turn, held sway into the stretch and weakened. SCIMITAR failed to enter serious contention. FLITAROUND was outrun. KEEP wa« always formidable, gained the lead nearing the stretch, but was not good enough. REVEL-ON reached the leaders from the outside and hung. REBUT failed to seriously threaten. JOE-AUSSIE was outrun. JOE HAY JR was in close quarters much of the distance. LEFTY CLARKE faltered after pressing the pace. TWICE TEDDY set the pace and quit. GOTTADANCE turned in a dull effort. PENSAVA broke alertly and was left with a commanding lead when COUNTY DELIGHT was taken off the pace, coasted along in front to the stretch and responded to energetic handling to hold sway. COUNTY DELIGHT, hard held while holding a favorable position, was roused leaving the three-eighths pole, moved menacingly, then lacked sufficient late surge. SUN BAHRAM made up ground steadily in a good effort. IRRITATE dropped back steadily. AIR ATTACK was outrun. PALATIAL APPETITE flattened out badly. Scratched— 585932 Adopt, 112.
