Two Riders Recovering RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 4. — Jockeys J. C. Fernandez and C. Burns, who figured in the two-horse spill during the first race Monday, are reportedly recovered from their injuries and will be seen in colors soon. Fernandez was the more seriously injured, suffering a slight concussion and vertabrae injuries. The popular Cuban lad is on the mend though and expects that a week of rest will do the trick.
