E. E. Major, Sr., Dies • HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., June 4.— It was learned here today that E. E. Major, Sr., well known horseman, had passed away at the Fort Scott, Kansas, hospital following a hrief illness. Major raced a string on Chicago tracks for many years, jand his son, E. E. Major, Jr., is now a trainer at Hawthorne. Young Major departed for Fort Scott last evening. The remains are at Chaneys Funeral Home, Fort Scott, Kansas. The deceased was about 68 years of age.
