GASC0NY forged to the front entering the stretch and gradually drew clear under brisk urging. ACONITE showed good speed from the start, was unable to reach the winner, but easily bested the others. GUSTO, never far back, failed to respond when called upon for his best effort. DANGEROUS ALP lacked the necessary rally. ESSAYIST failed to stay. ELIHO swerved repeatedly during the stretch run. GRACIES LARK was outrun. RED PASS, fastest to start, dropped back soon after the start. DUKETOWN and HELIUM never were forward factors. CANNOT was outdistanced early. BETHSABE worked her way forward to enter contention nearing the furlong marker, but was no match for the winner when the real test came. PRINCE TIP rallied too late to become an endangering factor., GO A -BIT. much used early, had little left. FRESH TONIC tired. ROUGH NIGHT was outrun. AMERICAN PILOT quit. PUDDLER never menaced.
