Charles Stevenson, Veteran Horseman, Dies in Detroit DETROIT, Mich.. May 25.— Dr. Harry W. Lindy, vice-president of the Michigan division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, reported today the death of stable foreman, Charles Stevenson, who passed away Sunday afternoon after a short illness. Stevenson was recently in the employ of George White. The HBPA is handling the funeral which will be held at 2 : 00 oclock tomorrow afternoon from the Rigley Funeral Home, 12712 Livernois, Detroit. Interment will be in Grand Lawn Cemetery.
