Pondfield Cranwood Visitor ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 25. — Lou Pondfield, director of racing at Cranwood Park, which gets under way on June 8 visited that track today. He is supervising the reconstruction of the oval which has been enlarged from a half-mile in circumference to five furlongs. He reports that things are running smoothly and all will be in readiness for the opening. Pondfield will depart for Pimlico tomorrow to close that meetine before coming back to Ohio.
