LINDEMAN Staff Correspondent FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville. 111., May 25. — Sprinters compete in the head-liner when a full field of twelve speedsters vie at six furlongs tomorrow night in the Litchfield Purse, an allowance affair styled for three- and four-year-olds exclusively. Despite the fact that the conditions state the race is for horses that have never won two races during their career, this dash has promise of being a real contest from start to finish. In the feature, G. and J. Hejnas Rebounder seems likely to rule the choice. The Hejna colorbearer will have the meetings current leading rider, Mel-vin Duhon, up and this combination should prove formidable. The improved son of Barre Granite finished second to the fast Patio Patter and his trials at the local plant indicate that he is ready for his best. Duke Pallets Mr. Emile ran a disappointing race here opening night in the role of favorite, but has proved in the past that he is capable of displaying a much better effort. With a top attempt he is sure to regain a host of supporters. Big Bomber, representing the stable of M. F. Keeley, although seemingly in a little higher in class than usual, ran a creditable race opening night and finished with good courage and could be a better racer than last season. Ellis and Vogelsangs Creme-de-Cocoa is another sprinter that showed that he is reaching top form. Although tiring in the last stages of his last he apparently needed the race to reach his top form. His keen trials at New Orleans this spring will place him as one of the dark horses in tomorrows feature. 1
