Riders Cheer Bed-Ridden Youth MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 22. — When a trio of Monmouth Parks younger riders, Frank Costa, Robert L. Stevenson and LeRoy Cargile, recently visited bed-ridden Frankie Murray at the hospital of Saint Barnabas in Newark, it marked a high, point in the life of 14-year-old Freddie. Severely burned at the age of four, the boy has spent the past ten years in and out- of hospitals, but is nearing recovery and looking ahead to visiting his new friends in the Monmouth stable area. His ambition is to become a jockey in his own right. Officials of the hospital have sent words of appreciation to the Monmouth Park jockeys for their visit to Freddie. "It has immeasurably hastened his recovery," they wrote.
