Lindy and Wilson Nominated For Michigan HBPA Post DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 22. — The Michigan division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association will hold their annual election-Thursday, June 25, in the racing secretarys office in the Detroit Race Course. Polls will be open from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. The following candidates were nominated for office for the 1953-54 racing season: Vipe-president: Dr. Harry W. Lindy, Glenn Wilson. Executive committee: Owners only: Dr. I. H. Steinberg, T. McDermott, Arthur Rose, Charles White, James Collins, T. A. Grissom, Leo Hertsberg, E. Grosfield, Joseph Mallia, Mrs. Grace Kosiba, Mark Leach. Executive committee: Owner- trainers : Charles Kranz, William Bridge, Henry Forrest, William Zakoor, George White, Harold Hoffman, Frank. Grand, Pat Mitchell, Ray Grundy, Stanley Greene, Henry Johnston.
