Raymond Pollock Takes Over As Ohio HBPA Vice-President CLEVELAND, Ohio. June 22.— The executive committee of the Ohio division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association met here last Wednesday and elected Raymond E. Pollock to serve as vice-president for the remainder, of Fred Grimes* term. Grimes resigned from the post due to the pressure of personal business and the illness of his wife which precluded him from devoting the time necessary for HBPA divisional work. Pollock, 38. is a resident of Cleveland, and is associated with his father* Otto Pollock, in the building and contracting business and real estate, holdings in northern Ohio. Pollock and his father operate a racing stable of nine head, which is now campaigning at the Detroit Race Course under the care of trainer Charles S. Lee. Members of the Pollock stable were purchased at summer and fall yearling sales in recent years.
