Pharamond III. Wins at Auteuil PARIS, France, June 22 Reuters. — R. Landons Pharamond UJ. yesterday won the 4,500 Steeplechase de Paris at Auteuil. Only four of the nine runners completed the four miles, two and one-half furlongs course. Pharamond, 3U., ridden by M. Maschio, won by 10 lengths from H. Au-berts Radium with G. Courtbis, Tournay, winner of. the race in 1952, eight lengths farther away, in third place. Herovic was tailed off 15 lengths behind Tournay. Fi-frelet, who started as the favorite, fell at the last fence when appearing a certain winner. Pharamond UJ., a gelding by Cidre Mousse — Trinoola, was second in the race in 1951.
