Swaps1 Owner, Trainer Undecided on Californian Physical and Mental Condition Of Colt Pleases Mischa Tenney HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 1. — Trainer Mischa Tenney reported this morning that he and owner Rex Ellsworth as yet have not made a definite decision on whether to start their great three-year-old, Swaps, in the 00,000 added Californian, June 11. "When Rex left for home Monday evening he told me to be thinking about it," Tenney said today. "We will get together very shortly and make a decision." Tenney said the question is still "very wide open" and that he and Ellsworth have not yet counted the calt out or in. Both Swaps and Bequeath came out of the Will Rogers in-great shape and Tenney said he is not only pleased with Swaps physical condition but also with his mental condition. "When he takes the track now he knows what he is expected totio and he goes right to doing it," Tenney explained. "That is the difference between J the Swaps now and the Swaps who won the Derby. Hes a much more mentally alert horse now." All of the other horses in the Will Rogers came out in good shape and the 5,000 added Cinema Handicap on June 28 is next on the schedule for most of them.
