Won ridden out; second and third driving. DAWNEY, well placed from the start, took "command from JULIE BUSHER during the stretch run and drew clear when ridden out. KNOBVIEW HOOLY, away alertly, bothered BLARNEY JACK leaving the backstretch, swerved to the inside when set down in the drive, but could not threaten the top one. MR. DUTY, under light restraint jLo the stretch, was bothered slightly when KNOBVIEW HOOLY swerved toward the inner rail, but finished fairlyuwell under urging. A foul claim against KNOBVIEW HOOLY by MR. DUTYS rider was not allowed. BLARNEY JACK, forced to take up when roughed by KNOBVIEW HOOLY leaving the upper turn, failed to recover. JULIE BUSHER went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch, then gave way when challenged by DAWNEY. GOLDEN HIND showed little. WANT-A-BIT could not keep up. Scratched— 49060. Lovergirl, 110. GOOD TIMES began fast, raced THE SPY into defeat before entering the stretch, settled for the drive with a clear lead but was briskly handled thereafter to retain his advantage to the finish. MISS MELODY, outrun to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and closed fast but could net get to the winner, although easily best of the others. B. PROMPT made a good bid in the early stretch, then weakened. LITTLE LIGE could not better his position when set down in the drive. JOFIELD tired during the stretch run. CROWN WINNER showed nothing. HEART LEAF was through early. THE SPY failed to stay after racing with GOOD TIMES for a half mile. MR. WIGGINS had brief speed. Scratched— 37044 John Alden, 111: 35580 Our Susan, 111. ROSE AND HOUSE was unable to better her position when punished during the stretch run. TROUT LURE, in hand while racing within striking distance of the leader to the stretch, went to the front after disposing of KING-AK, then held FLOYD E. safe. The latter, outrun early, gradually worked way forward and closed strongly under punishment, but-could not overtake the winner, although easily best of the others. BILLCELLA raced well and had no excuse. KING-AK went to the front early, made the pace until inside the stretch, then gave way when challenged by TROUT LURE. LITTLE DOC was outrun and had no excuse. DANDY WAG, much used racing with COLONEL-ZEDER to the stretch, faltered during the drive. COLONEL ZEDER held on well to the final furlong, then weakened. BE-MI-DEAR had no excuse.
