Emery Not Allotted Stalls By Balmoral Jockey Club WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., June 1. — Russell L. Reineman, president of Balmoral Jockey Club, today issued the following statement: "This year, Balmoral Jockey Club received stall applications for almost 2,400 horses, an unprecedented number for any race track in Chicago. "Consequently, approximately 650 horses were unable to be accommodated. "Official notice that the Illinois Racing Board had approved an owners license for James Emery, who had applied for stall space, was not received by Balmoral until the afternoon of May 28, 1955.
