Graffagnini; bred by H. H. Mundy. IN GATE-5:23. OFF AT 5:23 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. BLUE RENO made a powerful move on the outside after leaving the backstretch and took command in the middle of the track after rounding the last turn, but was doing his best to hold SIR CHATTER. The latter began slowly but also moved fast nearing the stretch turn and, although going very wide in the stretch, was gaining. LA BREEZE dropped too far out of it early and although making up considerable ground in the stretch, was not dangerous. HARD-SEA loomed up after entering the stretch and then weakened. TSA-TOKE, COWBOY and AMBALONG tired in the stretch. EQUIALL was close enough early but flattened out in the last quarter. Scratched— 128162 Further Notice. 117; 13858 Feuding. 115.
