OLD LANGLEY joined the leaders boldly from the outside entering the stretch and gained a narrow victory over SINK NOT SUNK. The latter attained a slight lead briefly between calls and fought it out willingly. Cutshaws claim of foul against the winner for alleged interference near the three-sixteenths mile pole was disallowed. THE CYPRIOT enjoyed a clear lead for three furlonqs and faltered STARWARD BOUND gave way badly. SIX TWO EVEN showed nothing. ON WHEELS WAS LAME GOING POSTWARD AND WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN THERE WAS NO REFUND INVOLVED. AS SHE WAS COUPLED WITH SIX TWO EVEN.
