Ford and Martinez Thrown At Fort Miami; Hospitalized FORT MIAMI. Maumee. Ohio, May 10. — Jockeys Henry Ford and Jose Martinez were unseated when their mounts stumbled during the running of the first race here this afternoon. Both riders were given first-aid treatment at the track, then taken to a nearby hospital for X-rays and more thorough examination. The mishap took place as the field bunched up going into the first turn. Ford was astride Harry Sweets Red Glove, while Martinez was on G. L. Evellers Little Cupe.
