TOLERANT caught TANBARK after going about three furlongs and, after taking a short lead on the backstretch was lightly rated, then had enough left to withstand challenges from ANGEL BREATH and PEPPY LASS and won under hand urging. ANGEL BREATH rushed through an opening near the far turn and, although continuing steadily thereafter, could make little impression on the leader. PEPPY LASS, well up from the start, moved on the outside on the stretch turn but weakened in the final drive. SARACEN DEVIL, required to race wide early and turned in a creditable effort. ROYAL WITCH was never a factor. GET FOR HOME was close up early and lacked his usual finishing dash. Scratched— 13858 Feuding, 120. Attavar claimed by B. Terry, Jr., trainer E. Meloncon.
