Roffo Going to ThistleDown LINCOLN DOWNS. Lincoln, R. I., May 10. — Apprentice Mike Roffo will be making his last appearance on this circuit this week. The Syracuse, N. Y., booter leaves on Saturday for Thistledown where he will take advantage of the apprentice allowance which allows 100 winners with the "bug." Roffo has only five winners to go under the apprentice rulings that prevail in Rhode Island and most other states.
