The latter moved well on the final turn, loomed a serious threat entering the stretch and lacked further response. BETTY C. rallied insufficiently. GAIN A GIRL bumped with HOPE MARIE while being sent to the inside early was taken up while moving up on horses, then weakened in the late stages TALL IRIS lacked a rally. WELLFLEET caught tired horses. DRAYTONS SAL flattened out, as did MYRTIE Mc. Scratched— 14089 Sigh, 115; 14537 Babyface Jones. 113. Attendance, 8,629; Total Mutuel Pool, 25,137.
