FILLY OMINE, a keen factor from the start, settled in the stretch with a short lead after racing SMOKY HILL and PLACER into defeat, then responded to strong handling and drew clear from MY NIGHT OUT The latter gradually worked way forward under a steady nde, made a bold bid in the early stretch but could not stay with the winner although easily best of the others. HOMEPLACE lacked early foot but finished fairly well under punishment. MANASSAS saved ground throughout, moved up determinedly at the stretch turn but tired during the drive. BONSAND saved ground while outrun to the last quarter mile, took command from KRISTI W. during the stretch run and drew clear when ridde nout. KRISTI W., forwardly placed from the start, saved ground throughout, held on determinedly when set down in the drive but was not good enough for the winner. LOOK ALIVE raced well to the last eighth mile, then weakened. MIDLAND TRAIL could not better his position when hard ridden through the stretch. SABRE-BIM could not keep up. JUSTA TOUCH was never prominent. FIRE MAC showed nothing. DEPEND ON ME had early speed but bore out badly and lost all chance. Scratched— 14027 Golden Apollo, 120; 14025 Glorys Crown, 111; 14029!
