Stewards Rulings SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 5. — The stewards issued the following rulings: "Jockey Michael F. Weissman is suspended 10 racing days for careless riding during the running of the fifth race of Saturday, May 2, 1959. Suspension begins Thursday, May 7 and terminates Monday, May 18, both dates inclusive. "Apprentice jockey James Dotson is suspended 10 racing days for careless riding during the running of the sixth race of Saturday, May 2, 1959 suspension begins Thursday, May 7 and terminates Monday, May 18, both dates inclusive." CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 5. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "Jockey George P. Ryan is fined 5 for failure to fulfill his riding engagements on May 4, 1959." SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 5. — The stewards here today issued the following rulings: "Exercise boy Charles Warwick, stable license No. 89, TRPB No. 70540, is suspended and his case is referred to the Massachusetts State Racing Commission with the recommendation that his license be revoked. Warwick was sentenced in the Chelsea District Court, Chelsea, Mass. April 27, 1959, to 21 •_ years, suspended, in the House of Correction and placed on three years probation on criminal charges." By order of the stewards. "A forfeiture of 0 has been placed against jockey William Skuse for lodging an unwarranted claim of foul following the running of the eighth race, May 2." FONNER PARK, Grand Island, Nebr., May 5. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "For interference on the back side and throughout the stretch causing disqualification of his mount, Jean Cole, from second place in the first race, Saturday, May 2, 1959, Jockey Charles Steck is suspended for the balance of this meeting."
