Name Veteran Officials To Serve at Beulah Meet Copland, Shewbridge, Nethersole Will Fill Stewards Positions GROVE CITY, Ohio, May 5. — Veteran officials, most of whom have served at Beulah Park in previous seasons, will supervise the 19-day meeting which opens here on Saturday. Robert J. Dienst, president of the track, has announced the complete list which finds A. L. Copland, Jr., William Shewbridge and John Nethersole in the stewards stand. All are familiar with the Beulah Park operation. C. K. Keller again will double as placing judge and paddock judge and he will be joined in the placing judges stand by C. W. Smith and J. A. LaTulippe. Smith also is serving his first term as racing secretary for the organization. Patrol judges will be Vincent Mara, Jr., Harry Moeller and Blake Wymer while John Breen returns as clerk of the scales. Alfred Bellew again will handle the starters assignment and Bill Hudson is, back as custodian of the jockeys room. E. S. Woodward heads the mutuel department with Jack OHara, another Beulah regular, doing the race calling. Dr. J. A. Hardie will be the physician in attendance, Dr. A. B. White is the veterinarian and Charles Smith will be the timer. Horse identification is being handled by the Pinkerton Agency. ,
