The latter set the pace under rating and gave way while drifting out through the stretch. DIADEMA was a factor from the start but lacked the needed response. Gonzalezs claim of foul against SIR ROM for alleged interference in midstretch was disallowed. MA GINNY lacked a response while racing on the outside. CHURCH MAN failed to attain prominence. NORTHERN STREAM faltered through the stretch. TUSCANY BELLE was taken -up early. SIDE KICK shook off the early opposition to attain a clear lead on the turn increased his advantage when straightened into the stretch and swerved to the outside when placec I 0 left-handed pressure in the final yards. He was disqualified for having interfered with MR HOWARD nearing the finish and was placed second. MR. HOWARD, after dropping far out of contention, rallied boldly through the stretcn. Shaws claim of foul against SIDE KICKMor interference near the finish was allowed. SUNNY GEM tailed to menace the top ones. ADAPT displayed speed into the stretch and weakened.
